Inshore Lizardfish are long skinny fish that typically lay on the bottom and ambush their prey from below. They have a wide mouth full of sharp teeth that can leave a nasty bite. They supposedly taste good but are rarely eaten by people and not targeted by anglers. They are found throughout the subtropical Atlantic and in Florida are found in both the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico.
