The Potbelly Airplant is a small common epiphytic airplant found throughout southern Florida as well as the Caribbean and Central America. It is a fairly nondescript plant with small grey leaves and a not very showy flower spike that extends for a few inches out of the center of the plant. It is often found growing on slash pines or cypresses in the Everglades.
