Welcome to Filming Florida

Fulton_090314_4292My name is Drew Fulton and I’d like to welcome you to Filming Florida, my three year journey to tell the story of the natural landscape and biodiversity of my home state. It is a narrative of Florida’s wildlife and beauty interwoven with my story of discovery and filmmaking.  The primary story depicts one of the country’s most diverse states—its wildlife, landscape, and natural history; the second story chronicles my journey and the creative process of capturing the landscape and its wildlife.  Using cutting edge technology, I will bring my journey and experiences to life through a production blog, weekly filmmaking web series, and natural history short films.  The project will culminate with the release of a feature length natural history documentary, a large format photographic book, and a multimedia exhibition. This is an unconventional and unique project, and it is my hope that you will join me on this journey as I dedicate the next three years of my life to exploration and storytelling.
