Butterfly Milkweed is a common plant of most of the eastern North America. Its flowers are popular with butterflies and other pollinators seeking nectar, and the plant also acts as a host for the larvae of both Monarch and Queen Butterflies. It is a popular plant with gardeners and while it prefers dry soil it is rather versatile.
